Furthermore, make sure that all your activity is done on your "own" time, and not during work (instructional) hours.  A local district has already begun reviewing this matter and intends to take disciplinary action.

Dear Fellow Union Members,

There has been little or no attention given to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinels's biased coverage of Scott Walker.  Our only major paper in Milwaukee has been blatantly pro-Walker since October.  This is particularly true of the MJOnline version.  Just take a look at the latest poll results (Most "strongly approve" of Walker).  Do you really think this represents the views of Milwaukee?

We can march until the end of the world but so long as our only major newspaper (and their sister in crime-TMJ channel 4) remains an arm of the Walker propaganda machine we are going to lose this battle.  This is about hearts and minds and, like it or not, people believe what they see on TV and read in the newspaper.  It is time to protest the media coverage by Milwaukee's  only major newspaper.  I propose an immediate AND OFFICIAL boycott of TMJ4 and the Journal Sentinel by all members the Wisconsin AFT.  Cancel your subscriptions and write or call the other news stations and ask them to report on this bias.

I also propose a protest in front of the MJS in the upcoming week.

In solidarity,

John A. Eimes

I propose a general protest of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Reply today to Journal/Sentinel pole about Walker's approval, he is leading.
