Support Bay View

John Manke is an active former Bay View resident who is involved in numerous neighborhood organizations, including the Bay View Historical Society, the Humboldt Park Fourth of July Association and the Shore Shore Farmers Market. He believes Bay View has a fine tradition in its past that we do not want to lose in the future.

                9:00 AM --  Parade:  Start at S. Kinnickinnic & E. Lincoln, continue to park

                   11 AM -- Children, Teen, Adult games -- in front of tennis court

11:00 AM - 1 PM   -- 2 Teams:  1860's Style Old-Time baseball game -- Keltner Field

12:15 PM - 1 PM  -- Donut & Donut Hole Eating Contest:  Registration at 12:15 PM

12:30 PM - 1 PM -- Registration:  Children's contest; vehicle, theme, decor, ages 2 - 12; Doll buggy: 2 - 8 yrs; Diane Reeve (643-5427);Coaster Wagon: 3 - 10 yrs; Diane Jones (881-2756); Tricycle: 3 - 7 yrs; LuRae Brower (482-2032); Bicycle:  7 - 12 yrs;  Marlene Stevens (769-0855)

12:45 PM - 1:15 PM -- Dancers with Woofs: Performinmg dogs -- next to park pavilion

                   1:00 PM -- Judging

                   1:30 PM -- Children's Parade to park chalet -- awards

                   2:00 PM -- Dance Contest on stage at  chalet -- audience participation with awards

2:30 PM - 5 :00 PM  --  Talent show at chalet: ages 5 -10, 11 - 14, 15 - 19 (Register before 7/1/11)

3:00 PM -  7:00 PM --  Live musical groups at parade reviewing stage on E. Idaho St.                            "Ray Libon" and "Wayworm"

                  7:00 PM --  Posting of Colors, National Anthem, awards presentation

                 7:15 PM  --  Evening entertainment at chalet -- "H2-Oh"

9:15 PM - 9:45 PM -- Fireworks: expanded fireworks display sponsored by "W.B. Bottle"
