Are we going backwards in our rights?

It seems to me that we are going back to the 1880's with our rights. Women are not guarenteed the same pay as men for the same work. Unions are being discouraged and denied permission to do their work. The CEO's are getting constant bonuses while the working man's jobs are being  sent overseas and our workers being laid off. Men like the Koch Brothers are buying the services of our politicians and encouraging them to do away with our rights. The 8 hour day and 5 day work week is being tampered with. Many people are forced to work at minimum wages and 7 days a week without overtime pay. If your employer does not like you, then you have no rights and could be replaced with another worker. Our unions have done a great job over that 100 years or so, to protect workers rights and their jobs. If you read historical accounts of what it was like before we had unions, then you will most likely agree with me that we are going backwards in time with our worker rights. Why can't major companies pay some taxes like they used to years ago. We are now required to pay the taxes that the companies get way with. With May Day just two days ago, I wonder why we don't get more aggresive and make companies pay their due amount of taxes. The rich CEO's can afford to pay more taxes also. We do not want a worker's revolution that could occur if things do not change for the positive. Remember that past. We do not want to repeat certain things from our past. Wake up. It is time to reverse some of this damage.
