You are welcome to come to the South Shore Farmers' Market

You are all welcome to come to the South Shore Farmers' Market on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 noon at South Shore Park, 2900 S. Shore Drive in Bay View. It is one of the most beautiful sites in Milwaukee, down at South Shore Park. Lake Michigan is in the backround of the market. Many times there is a cool breeze coming off of the lake. With over 40 vendors on site to serve you in a Gemutlichkeit like manner. Everybody is like family at the market. Bring you dog along with you (as long as it is on a leash and you take care of its business). I have found roasted chickens, frozen chickens, eggs, organic beef sandwiches on the grill. egg rolls and bubble tea, fresh bakery, fresh coffee, mushrooms, flowers, plants, homemade candy, kettlecorn, preserves and jams, frozen soup, local farm goods and big farm goods, spices, crepes and many other things that you might like. I saw cauliflower, peas, beans, beets, onions, small tomatoes, small potatoes, cucumbers (small and large), purple carrots and regular carrots, spicey sandwiches and other delights.

Y'all come and make yourself at home. There are a few picnic tables on site, but come early to get them. Many people come down for coffee and sweet rolls and then sit in the park for a while.
