Kevin Fischer is a veteran broadcaster, the recipient of over 150 major journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Associated Press, the Northwest Broadcast News Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association, and others. He has been seen and heard on Milwaukee TV and radio stations for over three decades. A longtime aide to state Senate Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Kevin can be seen offering his views on the news on the public affairs program, "InterCHANGE," on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10, and heard filling in on Newstalk 1130 WISN. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their lovely young daughter, Kyla Audrey, in Franklin.

If people think this is good news for progress in the city of Franklin they're sadly mistaken.
The dynamics have changed here in Franklin. Janet Evans was up against those changes. Folks won’t listen to reason or common sense because they got caught up in a new Franklin ugliness the likes have never been seen before in our city’s politics.
I congratulate Janet Evans for the job she did in the short time she had it and for dealing with what she had to put up with. I honestly think history will vindicate her.
I hope Janet Evans doesn’t lose the passion she has for our city that, with all its warts, is still something to be proud of.
And please, Janet, continue to help Mayor Olson, even without an aldermanic role, who needs our help now more than ever.
