John Manke is an active former Bay View resident who is involved in numerous neighborhood organizations, including the Bay View Historical Society, the Humboldt Park Fourth of July Association and the Shore Shore Farmers Market. He believes Bay View has a fine tradition in its past that we do not want to lose in the future.

9:00 AM -- Morning parade

Parade Route: Starts at 9 AM  on KK and Lincoln Ave. to KK and Logan Ave. to Idaho to Humboldt Park.

10:30-11:00 AM -- Rainbow Randa's Patriotic Clown Show

11:00 AM -- Children's Games -- In front of Tennis Court--Ages: 1-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12.

                  Prizes for everyone

11:00 AM -- Old Time Baseball Game -- Rules from the 1860's -- Keltner Field

12:30-1:00 PM -- Registration at Park (near pavilion)

                         Bicycle,Tricycle, Coaster, Doll Buggy Contest

12:45 - 1:15 PM -- Entertainment -- " Dancing with Woofs"

1:00 PM -- Judging--Bicycle,Tricycle,Coaster,Doll Buggies

7:15 PM at the Chalet: "All The Kings Men " and Mike Bishop  performing a Tribute to Elvis  Presley

9:15 PM -- Fireworks

All of this is due to the help of volunteers and sponsors  who support a full day of activities for the entire family as they have done for the last 98 years since 1910.  Volunteers are wanted and needed to help in the activities of the day and to give input to the planning of this event. Everybody is welcome to attend Humboldt Park's 4th of July celebration.
