Restaurant Review from a Reader

Cudahy, Email, Food

Good morning Randy,

I stopped by the Skyline Catering "open house" event last night on my lunch break and was impressed with what I saw.  Skyline Catering is located at 5601 S. Pennsylvania Ave. (the strip mall across from Lucas Millhaupt) and has been in the catering business since 1997.  They used to be located behind the Orlandini Plaster Studio storefront in the 4600 Blk. of S. Packard Ave..  The owner; Ernest Wunsch, was going to relocate in the building next to the City lounge but was unable to because the structure was in such bad shape.  (Now torn down)  Skyline Catering provides the food on the menu at the City Lounge.  The Pennsylvania Ave. location has a professional kitchen in the back and a take out counter in the front.  They are open from 5:30 A.M. - 6:30 P.M..

You owe it to yourself to stop by this business and see what it has to offer.  The food was impressive.

Have you considered posting a blog on places to eat in Cudahy?  T.A.T.S. Bar/Grill located Layton/Lake, and the Station House Bar Layton/Kingan have good food at a reasonable price, both open for lunch.
