MILWAUKEE (May 24, 2010) – Milwaukee Wave defender Troy Dusosky is the site director for the Wave Summer Soccer Camp at Grant Park in Cudahy, July 5-9.

Dusosky was named second-team All-MISL this season, leading the Wave to the MISL Regular Season Championship.

Head Coach Keith Tozer and the Wave again host more than 50 sessions of Wisconsin’s most popular summer soccer camp at sites throughout southeastern Wisconsin.  Players ages 4-17 will find a camp fitting their skill level and interest.  Parents will enjoy discounts of as much as $50 per session for additional campers.  This applies to multiple campers from the same family or additional weeks for the same camper, and includes Overnight Academies.

As always, professional Wave players coach at every camp, instructing players on fundamentals of technique and tactics.  Every camper receives a T-shirt, camp ball, tickets to four 2010-11 Wave games and certificate of participation in addition to their instruction.  Full-day camps also offer lunch breaks with Pizza Hut pizza for an additional cost.

Online registration for all camps is available at and clicking on the “Camps” link.

The Milwaukee Wave professional indoor soccer team is the longest-running professional soccer team in the country.  The Wave completed their 26th season by winning the Major Indoor Soccer League regular season championship.  Their summer camp program is the largest team-operated program in the country.  For more information about the Milwaukee Wave, visit or call 414-224-9283.

Granted I don’t follow sports, especially non-large media covered sports.  However, from the information that McCue and his followers put forth, I was under the impression that the Wave and MISL were out of business.  Apparently not, and as a matter of fact the much acclaimed defender of the Wave is the site director for the Wave youth soccer camp this summer at Grant park.

***day dreaming of how it would have been nice to go play adult indoor soccer at the Cudahy Wave complex, and then wobble into Walmart and buy bandages and pain medicine***
