He believes Bay View has a fine tradition in its past that we do not want to lose in the future.
This is a final reminder of the Bay View Plant Sale, taking place from 8 am to 1 pm, on Saturday, June 5th, at South Shore Park, 2900 S. Shore Drive, in Bay View. The Bay View Garden and Yard Society is the main sponsor of this event. The Milwaukee County Parks, South Shore Park Watch and the South Shore Farmers Market are also sponsors. This will be like an early farmers market, which will have the actual South Shore Farmers Market starting on Saturday, June 19th and running until the third week of October, except for the week of the South Shore Frolics. Many of the same vendors of the farmers market will be at the plant sale. There will be a variety of plants offered for sale. Coffee and bakery will also be available to purchase. This is a wonderful event for those people who like the farmers market and also those who enjoy planting a garden. Advisers form the Bay View Garden and Yard Society will be in attendance to give advice on planting a garden or other such questions. This is a free event open to everyone to attend.
