Police Report: Feb. 26

A garage in the 3700 block of East Van Norman Avenue was burglarized sometime between 2 p.m. Feb. 10 and 10:30 a.m. Feb. 11. Nothing appeared to be missing from the garage.


An MP3 player was stolen from a locked vehicle in the 3700 block of East Munkwitz Avenue sometime between 4 a.m. and 2 p.m. Feb. 14.

A man described as white, 6-foot 2-inches, medium build and in his early 40s is suspected of stealing meat from Pick 'n Save, 5851 S. Packard Ave., about 12:20 p.m. Feb. 18. The man fled the store from a rear entrance in the shipping and receiving area.

A 33-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for retail theft for trying to steal liquor from Pick 'n Save, 5851 S. Packard Ave., about 1:30 p.m. Feb. 19.


A 35-yer-old Cudahy man called police about 8:10 p.m. Feb. 6 to report he and his 34-year-old wife had just smoked synthetic marijuana and were having side effects including a racing heart. Police confiscated a glass smoking pipe and 1.8 grams of the synthetic marijuana from their home in the 4600 block of South Lake Drive. The couple had their 1-year-old child at home during the time they were smoking the marijuana. Police are continuing their investigation.


A 25-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for drunken driving in the 5500 block of South Lake Drive about 2:45 a.m. Feb. 12. The man's blood alcohol content was 0.13.


Two irrigation control boxes at Warnimont Golf Course, 5400 S. Lake Drive, were damaged sometime between 11:30 a.m. Feb. 17 and 6:30 a.m. Feb. 18.

A vehicle was reported keyed in the 5100 block of South Packard Avenue about 1:45 a.m. Feb. 18.


Several people were arrested for underage drinking, vandalism and disorderly conduct after a fight broke out at EA Sports Bar and Grill, 5132 S. Packard Ave., about 11:30 p.m. Feb. 5.

A 51-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she continually pounded on doors in an apartment complex in the 3400 block of East Layton Avenue on Feb. 18 and used profanity in accusing tenants of not paying their rent. The woman is not the apartment manager or property owner. When police arrived the woman was intoxicated.



A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for retail theft after trying to steal pajamas from Fashion Bug, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., about 4 p.m. Feb. 14.

A 30-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for retail theft after trying to steal makeup from Pick 'n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., about 6:10 p.m. Feb. 17. The woman told police she inadvertently placed the item in her purse.


A 22-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for drunken driving in the 3900 block of South Kinnickinnic Avenue about 12:30 a.m. Feb. 20. The man's blood alcohol content was 0.14.


A 46-year-old St. Francis woman called police about 9:15 a.m. Feb. 24 to report that a 23-year-old man who she had rented a room to at her residence in the 2600 block of East Whittaker Avenue would not leave. The woman suspects the man has mental issues and wanted him to permanently leave the residence. The man had just begun renting the room from the woman after she posted its availability on Craigslist.com. The woman also said the man brought a dog along that had fleas, and she believes she the fleas have been biting her. The man eventually did leave.



A side door to a business in the 1800 block of 15th Avenue was reported pried open about 3:30 p.m. Feb. 20. Nothing inside appeared to be missing.

Several items were reported missing from bins of a basement at a residence in the 3700 block of South Chicago Avenue about 5:15 p.m. Feb. 20.


A bicycle was reported stolen from the 1200 block of Marshall Avenue about 8:50 p.m. Feb. 18.

A video gaming system and other electronics were reported stolen from a business in the 2500 block of 10th Avenue about 10 a.m. Feb. 19.

A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of Madison Avenue about 3 p.m. Feb. 19.


A man was arrested for drunken driving near North Chicago and Carrington avenues about 1:30 a.m. Feb. 22.


A 34-year-old South Milwaukee woman called police about 12:30 p.m. Feb. 21 to report she believes her ex-husband has been poisoning her to make her sick at her residence in the 1000 block of Rawson Avenue.
