South Shore NOW claims a second in state newspaper contest

NOW receives 22 awards in Madison

NOW Newspapers, publisher of South Shore NOW and seven other suburban weekly newspapers, was presented with 22 awards Friday at the Wisconsin Newspaper Association annual convention in Madison.

The Better Newspapers Contest recognizes the top journalism in the state. Eligible entries were published between Sept. 1, 2011, and Aug. 31, 2012.

South Shore NOW took second place in the Continuing Web Coverage category for its Chill on the Hill feature, which was curated by Dan Polley.
