Music Line Up for South Milwaukee April 26th Spring Market

South Milwaukee April 26 2014 Spring Market announces music line up.

The South Milwaukee Downtown Market organizers are pleased to announce their April 26th Spring market music line up:

10am -Cheryl Yvonne (singer/songwriter)
Singer/songwriter Cheryl Yvonne sings while accompanying herself on acoustic Guitar. She also sings with the Women's Voices of Milwaukee.

11am -Mississippi Sawyer (old timey folk music )
Mississippi Sawyer plays old time music, with members playing wash tub bass, banjo, guitar, musical saw and other homemade instruments. You may also find Mississippi Sawyer busking on the street at festivals in and around Milwaukee.

12 noon -Rich Regent (jazz clarinet)
Rich Regent features an eclectic mix of jazz clarinet with improvising skills, dazzling dixieland and entrancing harmony which combine to energize the listener to tango, swing, and polka.

1 pm- Sweet Music w/Guest Deb Schampers (soft rock and retro)
"Dessert For Your Ears" Soft Rock Retro music with spot-on harmonies performing groovy sounds of the 60s, 70s, & 80s. Sweet Music also performs country and originals.

2 pm- Garlic Mustard Pickers (celtic folk string band)
A local favorite, this string band performs traditional music from the historic Gaelic-speaking countries--Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the islands, and the Celtic diaspora—Cape Breton, US and Australia.

Season six of the 2014 South Milwaukee Downtown Market is off to a great start with its second indoor Spring market on Saturday, April 26th, at the South Milwaukee High School 901 Fifteenth Avenue in South Milwaukee. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.

In addition to live music, the spring market will feature more than 60 regular market vendors who make, bake or grow their wares. A variety of hot food vendors will also be available. Come for the shopping and stay for lunch with music.

Limited stall space is still available for the Spring Market. If you make, bake, or grow a product, we’d like to hear from you. Information on the indoor and outdoor market is on the South Milwaukee Downtown Market website at .
